Candymag.com and TEENTalk House Rules
Registering in Candymag.com automatically entitles you to post in TEENTalk, Candy’s online community message board, as well as Candy Dates, Candy’s online event calendar. As a member, you agree to comply with the following rules. Any member who violates the following may be banned from the website and message board without prior notice.

1. Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy. Should any issues arise, please address them to the webmaster or moderators by e-mailing mods@candymag.com.
   
   
2. Do not use objectionable, obscene, or malicious usernames.
   
   
3. Handle your personal information with care. Write down your username and password so you won’t forget them, and keep them in a safe place.
   
   
4. Do not misuse or abuse your members’ privileges (this includes posting inappropriate material in Candy Dates or impersonating another member).
   
   
5. The following should be applied when posting in TEENTalk:

1. No bashing of schools or persons. This includes mention of any schools, mention of names of private individuals (any mention at all of names of private individuals is discouraged), and explicitly calling other people foul names.
   
   
2. No posting of contact numbers for reasons of cybersafety.
   
   
3. No malicious or obscene posts. This covers text, images and choice of username and avatar.
   
   
4. No vengeful posts or posts made to hurt back. Grievances should be posted in the Questions & Suggestions board or addressed to the moderators.
   
   
5. Incidents of harassment must be reported to the moderators. The member will be given a warning and his/her activities in TEENTalk will be limited. If member in question persists, he/she shall be banned.
   
   
6. Post only in the appropriate forum.
   
   
7. Please make sure your posts stay on topic. Off-topic posts shall be moved to appropriate sections or deleted if deemed inappropriate for TEENTalk. Avoid posting multiple threads dealing with the same topic.
   
   
8. Refrain from using shortcuts or text language and sticky caps (aS In tLknG lYk DiS) as courtesy to others because it's much harder to read and understand. You are encouraged to use proper grammar and spelling.
   
   
9. i. No spamming! Refrain from posting replies that only say "OK" or "I agree." Contribute to the discussion by sharing your own point of view. (For example, when you’re asked what your favorite movie is, say the title and then talk about why you like it.)
   
   
10. Avatars should measure 75x75 pixels maximum. Moderators will delete any avatars exceeding this size without prior notice.
