This Camp Rock diva certainly set the standards for her upcoming songs, because this new single comes out very strong and loud but still very Demi. You can really feel the fear and uncertainty over the song's story of falling in love, and trying not to screw up around the person you like! It’s really scary how a person you like can make you feel so, well, not you, not on purpose ofcourse, but then you feel like you have to be more girly, start to wear makeup, perfume, put your best foot forward you know? And how all of that can come on terribly wrong, giving you a heart attack which Demi describes in the chorus, "I'm putting my defenses up, 'cause I don't wanna fall in love, if I ever did that, I think I'd have a heart attack."
It's a song you can get easily addicted to, so if you have tone deaf friends, we suggest you might want to exercise caution in sharing the song to them, but hey, join along if they sing it anyway.
"Heart Attack" is Demi's lead single in preparation for her forthcoming fourth studio album.
