One her favorite scene to shoot. Probably the reaping. It was just so strange like really stepping into the book. The costumes put you there, all the extras, Effie and the Peacekeepers. I felt like I had stepped into the actual reaping and I remember thinking I'm actually here! When Effie called "Primrose Everdeen!" and Jennifer volunteered, it was hard not to feel like it was actually happening. Jennifer is so amazing that she pulled me right into the scene. Everything just happened after that. Definitely my favorite scene to shoot. I think the fans are going to love the behind-the-scens features! There's going to be a cool documentary about the making of the film and some great interviews with the cast.

On becoming a fan of The Hunger Games.I was reading the first book when I got the audition for Prim. So, I was becoming a fan. It was pretty cool, because a lot of times you get an audition and you don't know much about the character. But this time, I knew who it was! That was really exciting. I really love the first book. I almost always like the first book in a series. It is when you meet all the characters and the whole series gets its start. Suzanne Collins wrote the most amazing beginning to a series. I loved how she showed how much Katniss loves her family and meeting all the other characters. I think my favorite character is Rue. She is just so sweet and smart.

On the people closest to her in the cast. I was probably closest to Amandla Stenberg, who plays Rue and Jennifer. I have not seen Jennifer in a while, so I am looking forward to seeing her soon on Catching Fire. I still see and talk to Amandla. It is always cool to go an event or something and get to hang out with her again!

On her hairstyle choices. Depends on where I am going or what I'm doing! I love my hair down and loose for more dressed up occasions, like premieres and events. But most of the time I like comfort and getting my hair up! I like ponytails and buns for these times.

Her style staples. I am only twelve and still trying to figure out my style. I can say I love fashion. For my birthday this year I got a huge book on fashion. I love the way Audrey Hepburn dressed. I also love the style of Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, and Emma Watson. I think I like clothes that are young looking and colorful. My staples right now would be a pair of Marc Jacobs sequin loafers that I love, also his Daisy perfume. I also love Smith's lip balm. I want all the flavors!

The Hunger Games is already out on DVD. Get a copy while you wait for Catching Fire to come out.

by: angel, 2013-05-15
