DIY: Fake Blood
Here's a simple lesson on Blood Making 101!
photos by Zemirah

You know how those movie production houses make blood for slasher flicks, killer thrillers, and such? If you don't have a clue, we'll let you in on the secret.

You will only need:

  • corn syrup (can easily be bought at the Baking section of the grocery)
  • red food coloring

Pour the corn syrup into a container and add a few drops of red food coloring. Mix until the coloring is fully incorporated. If you want a richer red, add more drops until you get the desired effect.

Warning, though! Read the label of the coloring you bought. The red food coloring might stain your clothes, so choose your outfits carefully.

Also, don't consume loads of corn syrup as this may give you too much of a sugar rush. If you want to look like a vampire, just let less than a teaspoonful drip down your chin and you'll surely have a bloody good time!
