What's the coolest thing you learned from dad?

marla.jpg That kindness is the best response to difficult people, and humor is the best response to difficult situations. —Marla, Deputy Editor in Chief
steph.jpg My dad always told me that tardiness is unacceptable. It may not be cool, but it's a good trait and habit that I've learned to keep throughout the years. —Steph, Art Director
angel.jpg My dad's a history buff and he has a really good memory so I learn so much random, useful stuff from him. I can't really pinpoint one thing, but I guess the best thing I learned from him is the value of reading and how much more interesting life can be by knowing a lot of things about the world around you. :) —Angel, Associate Features Editor
My dad was way cooler than me. He got me into listening to Phoenix and watching Arrested Development when they first came out. He was the funniest guy ever and I got my sense of humor from him. —Sam, Associate Fashion Editor
macy.jpg My dad taught me to always find joy in simple things. I think it's a pretty cool outlook to have in life! —Macy, Web Managing Editor
dyan.jpg He didn't say it in so many words but he showed me the merits of being independent. Dyan, Web Staff Writer

My dad is the one who help me a lot in many things.. such as my assignments, and everytime I have a problem he is the one who carry at me, and he loves me a lot.

My dad is very supportive to me. Ever since I'm his daughter, I'm sure I will never let him down. I want him to respect my decisions and let me make my own choice, to do what I want. But someday, I'm gonna make him proud of me. :)

My dad thought me from the very start that in times of problem, crying is not an option.. Instead, use time to think of solutions to solve the problem.. That made me tough until now :)

My dad thought me a lot of things. Here are a few:
    1) Crying won't solve your problems.
    2) You shall never trust anyone with all your heart. Everyone is capable of hurting or fooling you.
    3) Love is never complete without honesty.

I won't deny it: I spend way too much time online. Mostly I'm just stalking people on Facebook and Instagram, other times I'm doing something more useful like reading articles...
