Single or coupled?
So who has more fun on Valentine’s Day? Those who are Single or those who are Coupled?
“Couples, of course!” Nicole said, enthusiastically. “Why, you fall in love all over again! Flowers in the morning, sweet messages throughout the day, a romantic dinner, and a Valentine’s gift to cap it off.”
“On the contrary,” Jill countered, “Valentine’s is not just about romantic love. It’s about celebrating love in all its forms. I can have a fab dinner with my friends or family and have as much fun as you.”
I thought back:
To those Valentine’s days spent single—doubled over in laughter with my friends, being silly, eating at a restaurant, or hitting the videoke. The bonding, the good vibes, the company. Those days were a blast.
Fast forward to Carlo’s and my first Valentine’s Day as a couple! Waking up to a call from him, those three long-stemmed roses, and, gosh, what a dinner date! The ambience, the mood, the candlelight, and the love of my life. It was perfect, I was transfixed!
“Well?” Nicole’s and Anne’s voice broke my reverie.
Who has more fun on Valentine’s Day? You tell me.

couples..!! for me.. i celebrated my valentines day with my crush.. he went to my house and gave me a letter and a cute teddy bear. awesome! now,he’s my boyfriend..hehehe

well… valentine’s aren’t meant for couples only… i celebrated my valentine’s day with my dad.
it isn’t that bad anyway.. so who says valentine’s aren’t celebrated by singles? the point is that you
celebrated it with the person whom you love.. not only your boyfriends/girlfriends but also your
family..:)

single!! i celebrated V-day alone, yet it was fun after all, treat yourself in a spa or hang out with your other single friends. You’ll see being single is not bad all along..=p

Valentine’s day will be so special if you will celebrate it with your loved ones, either with your family or
friend.. The feeling willjust be the same..

uhm,,for me? it really depends..=)
I was contented celebrating valentines day with my friends from the time that I “was” single. We had fun spending time with each other.
Then, when I had my share of relationships, specially with the one I have now, (Louie), whew! that was fun too. Last Valetines Day was a busy
day for me. My schedule was hectic. I was the new secretary of Cradle (performing group of our school) and we were busy arranging harana
service for other people, then we have many projects and term papers to do. The sweet part was, little did I know, he planned a “harana”
for me. All the pressure and stress were replaced of joy and a good feeling inside. LOL. Plus, he stayed with me and helped me with my papers.
What a sweet boyfriend he really is. I’m lucky, so is he..LOL
Well, maybe it won’t really matter if which is more fun. What’s important is we’re all loving. And we love the season.=)

My Valentine’s was such a bore. Haha. It has always been(romantically). Haha.
But it didnt stop me from enjoying the day as a singleton, you know.
PS: I missed the Jan-Feb ish, Katie! I wasnt able to read you entry until today.

i spent my v-day both w/ my friends and my lovey dovey. we had lunch then scoured glorietta
afterwards. tirng yet so much fun. plus i was able to witness the craze in dangwa when we bought
flowers for our parents.

aw… i can definitely say that it is happier when your coupled…
not just you’ll be awaken by a phone call and cheesy greetings from your one-and-only,
being coupled makes you feel special and loved.
i can say that ’cause mend my boyfriend just broke up before
the supposed ‘anniversary-valentine’s day-date’

well..i celebrated the past vALentines day with my friends.. we just had fun, sang in the karaoke, ate a
lot and laughed a lot..:) eventhough we all had no roses to preserve and no presents to open it
still seemed like a perfect valentine day for me:)

singles. because you wont feel bad when your partner forgets to bring you out because its valentines. in the case if he doesnt, it’s boring to stick to one person throughout the day.

i spent my valentines with my friends and the guy i really liked..
he went to my house with roses and chocolates…i could say that it was the most memorable

For Me…more fun if your still single…at least,you can do everything more fun..than have couples.Coz if u rather be couples…it’s fun at first,but when u get married and have babies…u can’t njoy your life alone!so for me single.

for me it would be a mixture of both…you can celebrate valentines day with your friends nd family…they can anyway make that event so memorable and with whom you know will never break up with you and stick with you forever, but what is valentines day for…basically talaga it is for lovers and honesly, it can not be complete for others without knowing that there will be someone to celebrate with

well,,it would be up to the people to enjoy their Valentine’s Day celeb…it’s a day of being able to have fun(with limitation)..,single people could celebrate the day in a different way from the coupled ones…we have different perspective..,what matters most is that you were able to show your love to the people whom you want to show it!^_^

it’s fun celebrating it with your bf/gf cause you get to be extra giddy and cheesy all in one day..but i think the most important thing is whether you’re single or taken,spending that day with the person you love(parents,friends,lovers,etc.) and giving the love back to the people you care about is more than enough to make it a special day.i love valentine’s day..i get to be extra ’sweet’ to my friends and family without being called a cheeseball.

the one has more fun is the couples. Valentines is not only celebrated to the love of partners but also in love of all forms as said in the entry. but valentines is usually the sweetest moment for couples. It might be the time where they express to each other how much they love themselves and everything. Singles do enjoy in Valentines day, it’s not big deal, they can go out with their friends and have some fun. but on the other hand, i would like to say that sometimes it would be better if you’re with someone special.
(hayy…i imagine how miserable i am when my bf didn’t do something so we can communicate to each other during last valentinesT.T)

couples… that’s what i think. Valentines Day for me is all about the hearts. All for the love… ^.^ and the sweetness. In our school, there were people who were so desperate to get someone to like them. There was even one couple who was so into each other… when the teachers weren’t looking. And my friend received about 2 dozen roses… two from each boy. As i see it, the couples have more fun…
and the singles? all they can do is watch…

valentines day are both meant for single or coupled,
there are friends that would be there for you and celebrate,,
valentines day is such a happy day to think and express love,
that’s why for me,
it doesn’t matter if you’re single or coupled.

a little of both!! because part of that day is spent with my girlfriends and the other part is spent with that someone. but reslly? i dont know. i had fun last V-day with my buds…because we kid around at how pathetic it could have been like if we had to spend it alone :p

Hmmm…Who says Valentine’s Day is only for “couples”? I love celebrating that day most likely with my family!!! =) I love our bonding together with my sibs! Chit-chatting with mom & dad about my day in school, making funny faces with my sibs & taking pictures with it!, dancing with our favorite “sib song!” & singing our hearts out! Making mom & dad happy! That’s what Valentine’s Day is all about! Making family ties closer together…**winks**

i spent the day with my boyfriend. he gave a bouquet of flowers and then we played bowling and after we ate in eat all you can..yummmyyy!
