Boys and more boys
It’s daunting enough to have to bond with people other than the foursome that you’ve known forever, it’s downright terrifying that the new additions to our barkada are a ragtag group of boys!
Sure, it has its perks. There’s less reason to worry about how you’re going to go home late at night, how you’re dragging that heavy pile of books from your locker to the car, and how you’re ever going to finish off that triple chocolate cake and banana split. Still, boys and girls are so different that you know things are bound to get tricky.
Or so we’ve been told.
So then, will boys and girls every truly get along? What if girls want to just go to the mall or gossip and boys insist on the food court or play? Could boys ever be okay with a little healthy competition from the girls, on days when the girls take on their passion for sports? And what if feelings other than friendship develop, would it all be downhill from there for the whole gang?
Jury’s out, I guess. In the meantime, Jill and I will see who we can trick to drive us to the mall!

Boys and girls will never truly get along. That’s part of the fun!

i know what your experiencing because my barkada is also like that.. 6girls and 7 boys..
you know, it never hurts to set aside some days with you and your female buds only.. boys can understand that! because they too, wants their own boys’ night.. so you just have to figure out something and you can still go out with each other because there are a lot of things that you all can enjoy..

I agree. Boys and girls will never get along, but that’s what keeps it interesting. It’d be incredibly boring if everyone got along. Don’t you think so?

Ohyes, I agree with ni.mo.
But soon, the girls AND the boys will learn to get along. Afterall, you guys are gonna be stuck with each other for a looong time.

Even boys and boys, and girls and girls have those occasional conflicts too right? There is less but there are still a lot of common grounds to rest on in relationships with the opposite gender..Ü Doing the same things together may sometimes seem awkward, but for me, it is a quaint thing to do.. it will bring you to a deeper relationship with each other too!;) Boys do go to the mall and gossip just as girls love the food court and sports too right?;) Feelings developing are inevitable. Remember that friendship is a strong foundation to grow love from, however be sure that the risks are worth taking.. ;P

Yah it’s true that sometimes girls and boys do not get along but somehow they do. Would you believe me and my girl friend had 13 boy Friends in our barkada! Quite big, but we find some time to really get together, we are fond of tripping out some resorts and beaches, so when one of us celebrates birthday we opt to go and find one that is how we bond!

Yeah. And that’s the thrill but I love my boy friends anyway. We still have wacky connections.

Sometimes boys can be really, really hard to understand. But that gives the friendship the excitement. =) My three best friends in the whole wide world are actually… boys! Good guys who don’t smoke, don’t drink, are smart and way cool. ^_^

i agree.boys and girls don’t get along well…because girls wanna have fun with kikay
stuffs and boys with their cars or basketball or whatever you call it.but girls are not
just vain as what boys thinks.we also love to play sports but not all the time ofcourse.
but it’s fun when your boy buds are around and they have fun with us and have some
bonding time.

hi katie !! i agree girls &boys really fight like cats &dogs!!!
girls like us like magazines,make-up,fashion,dolls & other general truth with girls
while boys have major messiness! well boys often aren’t expected too look as presentable ( or clean!)
as girls. some entirely don’t care-they actually like being gross! it’s more important to them to
rough it with their buds,have fun or be comfortable!!
but it is also fun hanging with them they are very cool when u actually meet them deeper!
1 thing u need to know ’bout boys:
they don’t want girls who love flirting!

contradicting nature we must say… girls from the planet venus and boys from the planet mars but both can be found in the solar system just like boys and girls both coexist in this big big world can’t live without each other needing the other to thrive

haha,,,i think its better that boys and girls don’t always get along..at least we would have a little mix
of everything,,its harder when we all get along so well…at least from time to time there’s spice in the
friendship..:) we need boys and boys need us..:) and that’s a fact..:)

..gender is always a factor in friendship.we can nevr deny d existing differences between how we thnk and act..Boys and gurls tend to lok at one thing in two opposite views..

hehe..hello..it’s not true that gurls and guyzz could not really get along..it depends on the love,the time and friendship you share together..but i agree with axile..boys and girls sometimes act like cats and dogs..but it will end up as good things should be..but sometimes it’s hard to understand them,,but it’s really fun…but gosh!this really surprised me..what in the world happened,,that my bestfriend is a boy..one that who truly cares and way too cool..he is too good to be true!..but it is really true that there are some gaps between us and we sometimes don’t understand each other because of our differences..but we really get along..through school,text and the phone..hehe..he is one of the best parts in school..i really don’t know what to do without him..hehe,,i became so dependent on him starting from the time he helped me move on..i owe the world for him…i don’t want to lose him and i’m really proud to say…i love my best boy bud!!!..hehe…hope you feel the same way as me..^_^..

well, since my school just opened August 2007, there are only 7 people in my grade. and, well, there are four girls and three guys. And only three of the girls(including me) like having fun with the guys once in a while. so i dont really mind having (SOME) boys around.
