Breakups are not only difficult, but also really painful. That's why it's no surprise that most of us resort to pettiness when it comes to dealing with all things related to the ex. We mean, we don't judge; we totally understand because we're guilty of that, too! #SorryNotSorry

That's exactly what happened to Twitter user Nick Lutz who received a looong apology letter from his ex. Not only did he read it and take the message to heart, but he also edited it and gave his ex a grade—maybe for trying? (via Refinery29.com)

Comments ranged from "no indents" to really hilariously painful ones like "still missing details" and "if there is no reason to lie, why isn't the truth being told?" In the end, the hilarious tweet got 106K retweets and 312K likes. His ex also got a D- or 61/100 mark. Ouch!
