Running from building to building to make it in time for calculus class. Choosing between a nearby restaurant and the good old caf for lunch. Reading a whole new chapter in my chemistry book for a five-item quiz. These are just some of the things I do now that I'm in college.
Back in high school, I had all my classes in one classroom, ate lunch at the canteen, and studied for a quiz only after my teacher had discussed the topic. I never realized how many changes I would go through in college. Sure, I was prepared to ditch the uniform, the way I called teachers "miss," and the familiarity with everyone and every place in high school. But there were a lot of other changes I didn't expect.
