  1. Get physical
    People who work out regularly are more likelyto be happier and healthier than those who don't. If you're not into sports, add extra activity to your daily routine by walking or biking.
  2. Eat right
    A healthy diet is important in maintaining an active lifestyle and protecting your body against health problems. Nutritious eating strengthens your immune system, increase energy, and imporves bodily functions.
  3. Take food and dietary supplements
    If eating a balanced diet every day is not realistic for you, then take some food and dietary supplements. They play a big role in health promotion and disease prevention. One supplement a day is a sound investment for good health.
  4. Boost your brainpower
    Staying young isn't limited to being in great physical shape; it also means being mentally sharp! Reading regularly, taking on a new hobby, and doing crossword puzzles or Sudoku will stimulate your brain.
  5. Develop a skin regimen
    Good skin care is a must. All you need are a cleanser, toner, and moisturizing sunscreen with an SPF of at leasr 15. Avoid repeated exposure to the sun's deadly rays—especially between 10am and 2am—which can be damaging to your skin.
  6. Take care of your pearly whites
    Stained or yellow teeth make an unattractive smile. Brush your teeth after meals, floss daily (to remove plaque in areas your toothbrush can't reach), and see your dentist annually.
  7. Shy away from bad habits
    Smoking increases your risk of heart and lung disease, whil excessive drinking can weaken the immune system and cause liver and kindey damage.
  8. Stay connected
    Experts believe that isolation creates a chronically stressful condition that accelerates physical and mental aging. Maintaing personal relationships encourages healthy behavior, so pursue social activities with your family, friends, and new and interesting people.
  9. Learn to de-stress
    Stress weakens the immune system and accelerates the process of aging. Take a breka and spend 30 minutes each day doing something you love.
  10. Think positive
    Having a positive outlook on life can make a big difference in the way you approach things. This enhances your ability to effectively manage whatever life throws at you. Optimism will make you live happier, healthier, and longer.
