6 Stages of Cramming
Not the best feeling in the world.

Cramming for an exam or a deadline is the worst feeling in the world. It's like someone tricked you into believing that everything's going to be okay only to find out that the total opposite is going to happen. Worse, that someone is you! Below are the six stages of cramming that we hope you'll never be able to experience.

12 hours before the deadline:

You try to work in advance, but don't feel the urge to get things done because you're still not in the zone. After all, you still have loads of time.

8 hours before the deadline:

Eight hours is a lot of time to get things done. Besides, you work better when under pressure.

4 hours before the deadline:

When the realization that you have a ton of work to do in such a short amount of time hits you, you start panicking and thinking of the easiest way to finish the task.

2 hours before the deadline:

You become exhausted from all the stress you've been—and about to go—through, so you convince yourself you deserve a break, deadlines be damned.

1 hour before the deadline:

Total panic mode sets in to the point where you're seriously considering other options. You blame yourself for waiting until the last minute to finish your deadline, for taking a break when you should've kept working, and for spending a lot of time on your socials. But it's too late for that, isn't it?

After the deadline:

You heave a sigh of relief and swear on your life that you'll never ever cram again...until a new deadline comes in.
