OMG, This Girl Sent Her Professor a Letter About Her Breakup!
This is the perfect excuse letter, TBH.

When we go through a breakup, especially in the middle of a semester, it's really difficult to focus on what needs to be done. We try our best pretending to be okay and just get on with our lives. But Rachel Harriman, a 19-year-old student at Ohio State University, dealt with the pain honestly and even sent an email to her professor, telling him the truth on why she submitted her essay late. (via BuzzFeed.com)

According to Rachel, her prof was kind enough to accept her reason, saying, "Well, life happens" and even giving her a B+ in the end. Aww! Don't you just love professors who have your back? But that's not all! Even the Twitterverse supported her, too.

Since posting her epic excuse letter, the tweet has gotten 2K retweets and 16K likes. Woot woot! We have your back, Rachel! ♥
