Experimented. My style would definitely be a mix-and-match of sorts. I like experimenting with new looks every now and then. If I were to describe my style, I'd say it's a cross between Alexa Chung and Agyness Deyn.
Shopping haunts. Topshop and Zara are my favorites.
Fave fashion creator. Alexander Wang. His designs are so effortlessly cool!
Attention grabber. I would always wear something quirky; an accessory perhaps or a pair of killer heels—something that stands out even when I'm just wearing a basic white shirt and jeans.
Vintage-inspired. 90s grunge, 80s pop culture, and TV shows like Gossip Girl, Skins, and what have you. I get inspired by fictional characters such as Enid Coleslaw from Ghostworld, Cassie Ainsworth from Skins Generation 1, and Dolores Haze or Lolita in the 1962 film adaptation by Stanley Kubrick.
Style guru. Alexa Chung! She has this laid-back chic kind of vibe which I just love about her because she looks amazing without even having to try so hard.
Online influence. My style is mostly influenced by fashion bloggers such as The Sartorialist, Susanna Lau (stylebubble), and Tavi Gevinson (tavi-thenewgirlintown). I swear, there's so much inspiration on their blogs, I feel compelled to put more "awesome" in my outfits.
Monochrome. My closet's color palette is mostly black, white, and gray. I do have some pieces in nude shades and bright colors, though. I own a lot of black, white, and gray pieces mainly because they're versatile and easy to play up with just by adding accents of bright colors or nudes.
Never-ever! Fishnet stockings and basically, anything inappropriate that'll make you look too desperate for attention or too old for your age.
The basics. Classic pieces like the little black dress, the white button down shirt, and pumps never get old. You can wear them to any occasion since they're very versatile.
Victorian come-back. Petticoats and dresses from the mod era!
Hand-me-down accessories. I sometimes borrow my mom's jewelry, may it be elaborate chandelier earrings for a formal event, cocktail rings, or necklaces to match any outfit—you name it, she's got it!
