Random classic. My style varies a lot depending on mood... which is somewhat random. Mostly, I stick to classics and monochromatic colors. —Tricia Gosingtian (February 2009)

Old Hollywood style. This is quite hard to think about—there's always that timeless classic and I guess 99% of girls would agree when I say that Audrey Hepburn is way up there in the pedestal. I believe Veronica Lake and Grace Kelly are noteworthy fashion icons as well. I very much liked Twiggy's style and Edie Sedgwick, too.—Dominique Tiu (January 2009)

Old-fashioned hand-me-downs. I have a couple of my mom's sunglasses, bags, and belts back from the '80s. My grandma gave me some of her old jewelry from when she was younger!—Rosanna Aranaz (January 2009)

Style icons. Kate Moss and how she always look so effortlessly chic, Victoria Beckham because she has a lot of amazing bags, Carine Roitfeld, Kate Lanphear and Giovanna Battaglia- I love the way they accessorize- they have the fiercest shoes and bling! —Lissa Kahayon (April 2009)

Whatnot. My style is quite a mixture of everything. Basically, it all depends on my mood really which is why I find it hard to label or categorize my style, it's just MY style, very ME. I can however describe my style by stating what it's not. My style isn't and never will be goth, emo and most of all, over the top and tacky. —Camille Co (March 2009)

Fashion influence. All the girls in my family are very keen on fashion and beauty, so I pretty much grew up with a love for it as well. Also, coming to Manila for college and not having a uniform for the very first time pressured me into creatively disguising the clothes I wear over and over again, and trying to make them look new. —Kryz Uy (October 2009)

Always wearing... Heels. They make me feel more confident. —Laureen Uy (November 2010)

Vintage finds. I remember raiding my grandmother's closet when she decided to move to the US. I was able to get Chanel, Christian Dior and Roberta Di Camerino bags, Christian Dior and Charles Jourdan pumps, just to name a few. And cool skirts and padded blazers. Of course some needed to be altered, which I did, so now it has a little me in them as well. As for my mom, she gave me her old Christian Louboutin heels and Gucci and Chanel bags, which I can't get enough of! —Patricia Prieto (January 2010)

Mix and match. My style is constantly evolving and experimental. I love standing out in a crowd by wearing one to two key items that usually makes my outfit, and I try to keep everything else simple and basic. I love to mix and match extremes, like girly and manly, shiny and matte, wild and tamed. At times though (at least once or twice a week) I do classic, basic, and simple. —Nina Estacio (September 2010)

Inspiration. I draw inspiration from everywhere, from my closest friends to random people in the streets to my fellow bloggers. I love how this generation is becoming more and more fashion conscious! I also like taking cues from my favourite TV series (Pushing Daisies and Mad Men have the prettiest wardrobe!), films, and the pictures on my Tumblr dashboard! —Gela Abores (August 2010)

Own influence. My shop. Since I started the Second Shop, I learned to become more outgoing and risk-taking with my style. Since the shop would indirectly reflect my style, I became more open to trying different looks. —Lexi Gancayco (November 2010)

Influential art. The arts! I believe having to study in a school that’s art driven really helped in the evolvement of my style. You see things differently and appreciate the weirdest things! I love it! —Gillian Uang (November 2010)

Self inspiration. I dress up to express myself. As an artist, the way I dress clearly depicts how I am as a person. My characteristics really scream out of my style. For me, what you see is what you get. Taylor Momsen (definitely!) is one of my greatest inspirations. I adore how she puts edge even to such delicate clothing. I also love the way Naomi and Silver of 90210 dress up. —Nikki Sunga (November 2010)

Edgy chick. I'm usually clad in a mix of classic and uptown with an urban edge. I'm still working toward more of an edge because I think that it makes outfits interesting, but I'm particular about balance and clean lines. —Janthina Fong (May 2010)

Natural style. I tend to avoid this question because it forces me to put myself into a box. I am not defined by my clothes. I just wear what I feel comfortable in. It is so awful to see a people trying to pull off a look that is not natural to them. —Martine Cajucom (March 2010)

Schizophrenic style. I think I have multiple personality disorder when it comes to dressing up, but really, my style is basically anything I feel comfortable in. I don't consider myself stylish or fashionable, but I do feel individual. I'm curvier than most people, so it's difficult for me to look good in a lot of the current fashions. —Regina Belmonte (November 2009)

Style gurus. Mostly musicians like Karen O, Marina Diamandis, Bjork... And Agyness Deyn, Rumi Neely, Kate Moss. Anyone who looks free-spirited and doesn't believe in following any rules in fashion.

All about prints. My style varies from mood to mood and changes as I shift from one inspiration to another. I can go sophisticated today, girly girl tomorrow, and then hiphop the day after. But generally speaking, my style is all about layers, textures, patterns and prints. —Rio Navarro (December 2010)

Classic chick. My style is usually affected by the mood I'm in or the weather but it never veers away from the classic girly-girl. Florals, daisy dukes, heels, dresses, and skirts—those are clothes you would usually see me in. I love prints that speak for themselves. I like focusing on a certain statement piece and just work my way through. I like simple accessories, the ones that are just so gorgeous that I don't have to pile them up. And bags bags bags bags.. They say eyebrows make the makeup, but I say the bag makes the outfit! —Vern Enciso (July 2010)

Closet's palette. Mostly black, white and grey! They're easier to pair up with other clothing pieces, especially since I love to layer. But I probably have an almost equivalent amount of prints and popping colors, I just don't wear them as often. —Gia Jamias (July 2010)

Always with... Something brown leather. I always wear either a brown leather belt, shoes or a bag! I just love how they can pull an outfit together and make it look a bit tougher. Also dainty gold jewelry. They balance each other out. —Bea Bermundo (September 2010)

Preppy chick. Anglo-American Classic with a bit of continental gamine thrown in. You can take the girl out of prep school but never the pep-and-preppy out of a girl. :D —Arianne Ferrer (September 2010)

Influenced. I would say it didnt come so easily for me. I know I love fashion and dressing up but it's through a process of trial and errors (old photos are proof) that I finally got to where I am right now. I guess building confidence is key to being able to express yourself through clothing. And I realized I just want to wear what I feel like wearing and have fun with it. :) —Sharnie Hung (May 2010)

Adventurous. Ever since I was a kid, I love to dress up. I visit fashion blogs and watch TV series and try to incorporate the styles of people that are "adventurous" when it comes to their style (a simple black dress paired with a worn-out, oversized plaid polo, ultra ripped jeans paired with a blazer, etc.) —Trizia Lim (April 2010)

Mom's love. My mom inspires me. She's so beautiful and she knows it! :) HAHA! I love how she feels so good in her skin. Also, our blog is my inspiration, and the readers who support us. They make me want to fight the good fight of body image and self-esteem, which are two issues worth fighting (and beautifying) for! —Danah Gutierrez (December 2010)

Oldies but goodies. Women from the 1960s. I love watching old movies, even the black and white ones. I get inspired by the way they dress and the way they carry themselves. I like the fact that they always dress up even if they're just at home. Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's will always be my all-time favorite movie. —Alexa Luna (Decmeber 2009)

Flexibility is key. My style's flexible—eclectic, Harajuku, vintage, boho, classic, rock, or kinda neurotic. It does not stop with my outfit rather it reflects to my lifestyle as well—from the hairstyle I'm going to wear, the makeup I'm going to put on, the music I'm going to listen to, the things I'm going to do and to the extent that it also influences the food I want/ cook. —Charlene Dy (May 2009)

Young fashionista. As a child I've always loved dressing up. I can even remember having a pair of shoes that would match every outfit I had. My family had a clothing store way back so I grew up being conscious of what I wear all the time. I've also loved reading magazines so through that I get updated with the latest trends. Then, when I go shopping I look for pieces that would match these trends and most importantly my own sense of style. —Azzedine Sadsad (January 2011)
