When going to an evening party, try something white or light to stand out from the usual deeper, darker tones of the crowd. Look effortlessly glam and classy by working a simple, solid color dress pinched up by adding soft punches of gold/silver accents. For my look, I chose an off-white chiffon dress in a more dramatic silhouette (from Forever 21) and some metallic add ons: a floral necklace, thick bangles (from NAVA), cream-colored bag (from Hong Kong) and white gold heels (by Vince Camuto). —Danika Navarro

You can never go wrong with a little black dress! Style your closet staple by adding a fun twist to it with a long sheer or lace skirt. Don't forget to accessorize! :) —Ana Gonzales

A holiday party is the perfect occasion to go for a sleek or glamorous look and to don luxurious and textured fabrics such as satin and sequins. For my holiday party look, I paired a gorgeous satin tulip skirt with a simple white studded top and a white cape. I finished of the look with a pair of mesh peep-toe booties and some metal accessories for a fun, edgy twist. —Kookie Buhain

Everybody would probably attend parties in dresses this holiday season. Stand out from the crowd by pairing a dress with something unexpected. Instead of wearing heels, wear oxfords or boots like how I paired my Dan Concepcion dress with Sole Service combat boots. —Alyssa Lapid

Nothing says festive more than a sparkly number so bring on the Christmas cheer with a metallic or embellished dress. Keep it simple with nude makeup or make it bold with red lipstick. —Reg Rodriguez

This Christmas, I'm dressing up in a bright, bold red. A classic-cut long sleeve number with peekaboo lace detailing that's sexy yet sophisticated at the same time. It's chic enough to wear without accessories and plain enough to spruce up with zebra print heels! —Kryz Uy

Glam it up this holiday season by deviating away from the LBD and bringing in the Little Red Dress for added Yuletide cheer. A satin dress with a '50s silhouette like this spells old Hollywood glamor and a very bold statement for the holidays. Plus, it works well for every body type. Accessorize with elegant pearls to bling up the outfit and you'll be good to party the night away! —Joanna Ladrido

More than just looking good, Christmas parties (or all parties in general) are all about having the best time with your family and friends! Wear something appropriate and comfortable enough to allow you to breeze through the night without having to constantly pause for your aching feet, or remembering to pull your skirt down. :) —Reese Lansangan

When dressing up for the holidays, try to add some colors to your look. I often see people in black or gray when they attend parties, so for me a touch of color is the key. If the outfit is plain, accessorize!:) —Ava Te

For Christmas or jolly parties at night, wear a simple glittery dress. Pay attention to cuts and details and opt for a shade that's fun and not too overpowering for skin tone since you'd want yourself as the main focus and not the dress. :) —Gillian Uang

Lately I've been trying to inject some color into my party outfits. I always make sure that I don't wear anything too fussy at night in case it gets too crowded and warm, but I also bring along a jacket just in case it rains or the AC at the venue is on full blast. Always make sure your shoes are interesting since they're great conversation starters, but make sure they're comfortable enough. Look polished from head to toe—from your makeup to your nails and accessories. I rarely plan my outfits but the little details count in pulling your look together. —Raleene Cabrera

For Christmas dinners with friends and family, I prefer sticking to classic pieces and dresses that already look great on their own. I also like choosing bright "statement" colors to get into the festive mood. I would add trendier pieces for my accessories, cover-ups or shoes. I would get into something comfortable so I won't have to fix myself at every minute. So it might help to avoid bodycons when it's a buffet, haha! —Aileen Belmonte

You'd want to stand out a little bit from the crowd, the lights, and the all around buzz happening during parties. A sparkly top and a pouf-y skirt always works wonders, especially if you want to look eye-catching on the dance floor. For the holiday season, maybe you could inject some Christmas colors too. I personally like gold! —Gela Abores

A tip for dressing up this Christmas season? Stand out! May it be a themed party or the usual party out with friends, make sure to leave an impact. In a good way, of course. Wear colors like red, green, black, white, silver, and gold to get that festive vibe. Make sure to accessorize and wear statement shoes as well! —Patricia Prieto

Personally, I really like wearing skirts and blouses/tops together and making them look like dresses instead of just wearing dresses. There is always that challenge of mixing and matching, not to mention you can use it more than just one time. For this look, I'm actually just wearing a plain spandex top and a soft tulle pixie skirt. Since I wore this during a holiday party with my family, I opted for something a little more conservative. I dressed it up by piling gold accessories like my necklaces and bangles and a gold vintage belt. Since I knew there would be a lot of dancing, standing and greeting during this party, I stuck to neutral wedges. This way it didn't over power my look but it was still something different at the same time. —Lexi Gancayco

Dress up in such a way that you'll look fashionable. But keep in mind that you must also feel comfortable in your party outfit, because Christmas parties involve a lot of games, dancing, and the non-stop eating! —Lissa Kahayon

One way to spice things up this Christmas is to use Christmas colors for your outfit. Red and green doesn't always equal Christmas tree. Choosing the right shades can actually make the whole combination work. In this case, I used maroon and teal to come up with a casual but sophisticated outfit that I can use both at work and after work hours.Tricia Gosingtian

This is the perfect time to dress a bit fancier, so during the Holidays I like pulling out my most elegant pieces. I like playing with lush fabrics such as brocade and velvet (like this dress I had custom made), and of course getting the most out of the colors of the season. I top it off with some killer, but comfy, heels and a swipe of lipstick, and I'm already party ready! Bestie Konisis

For holidays, don't hesitate to glam it up a little bit. Don't be conservative with the sparkles, glitters, and jewel tones. Personally, since the holiday season is particularly a little bit cooler, I abuse my blazers and pair them up with pretty frocks. Dominique Tiu

Pay attention to the littlest details because they add up. I love a good vintage-style dress, and this shift's gorgeously decorated cuffs won me over. They make a big statement with minimal effort, which is always a plus since the last thing you want to do is worry too much over the holiday. —Sam Potenciano, Candy's Associate Fashion Editor

This cheerful outfit is an easy option for dinner with friends at a nice, cozy resto. I'd probably never wear this little skirt with a skimpy top, but if you absolutely must bare your arms, shoulders, cleavage, and a lot of leg ALL at the same time, it might be a good idea to swap those heels for flats so as not to give daddy a heart attack. —Marla Miniano, Deputy Editor in Chief

When wearing something short and tight, keep all your accessories and makeup minimal. You wouldn't look too racy and revealing :) —Vern Enciso

I'm really not the type to dress fancy, which explains my drab-looking ensemble, but I love playing up colors on my nails. For the holidays, why not add some sparkle to your digits? Think of it as a glammed up french tip! —Macy Alcaraz, Candymag.com's Managing Editor
