Hey, Candy girls!

So we are now in the final stretch of our “Making our Mini Mag” blog entries. We already had the first meeting, the behind the scenes, the celebrity shoot, the staff and fashion shoot and the features articles. Now, I’m writing about COC8’s favorite part in making the mini mag. The food trip!

Hey, everyone!

It has been such a busy week for me—scripts, midterms, recitations, and Chapter Three of my thesis were due this week. I am so glad I survived! You know, whenever I study or do something school-related, I see to it that I have food to keep me awake and yes, motivate me to study some more. Haha! I couldn’t have survived this week, if it weren’t for these food: (They’re not necessarily my comfort food but they helped me pull off all-nighters.)

  1. New York’s Finest Pizza of Yellow Cab
My brother, Kuya Brian was in the mood to eat pizza on one school night. At first, I was annoyed that he bothered me while I was typing my assignment but when he told me, “Bea, pa-deliver ka pizza,” my mood instantly changed. Haha!
  2. Cheetos and Act II Butter Lover’s microwavable popcorn
These are definitely part of the grocery list every week.
  3. Koko Crunch and Cowhead Fresh Milk
Ahh, my favorite tandem for midnight snack and breakfast
  4. Barbecue-flavored cornick
Some of my blockmates went to Laoag for their thesis immersion. One of them bought cornick for me as pasalubong. Thanks, Kitch!
  5. Sweet Home BBQ Burger of Bubba Gump
Just last night, Kuya Brian brought food from Bubba Gump. By the way, he works in Bubba Gump Greenbelt 3 as a chef. He brought Cajun Shrimp for my mom as well.

These are just some of the food that I ate randomly this week. I know they aren’t exactly energy boosters, but it just so happened that these helped me de-stress somehow. I’ll try to eat a well-balanced diet, which includes lots of fruits and veggies in the coming weeks to keep me healthy as I pull off all-nighters.

You know, Candy girls, we all deal with stress differently. It is important to find ways on how to reduce your own stress level. So how about you? What do you eat when you’re stressed or when you’re studying? Let’s compare!

Enjoy the long weekend girls!

Knows what to do when stressed,
Bea

P.S. I know this post would have been better if I had pictures but sorry I forgot to take photos of me eating all these. Hehe!
