Linggo ng Wika

Our school is now celebrating Linggo ng Wika, a week dedicated to our national language, Filipino.
Within this week we will be doing all sorts of activities. Each batch is assigned a certain festival for which they will present a dance. Our batch’s festival is the Panagbenga, or the flower festival (in Baguio). We have quite an exciting dance prepared with plenty of stunts and props.
Besides dancing, there will also be group contests for singing and reciting poems. For the singing portion my class chose the song “Sandalan” by 6Cycle Mind. We decided to give a story to the song by dividing the class into different stereotypes (geeks, jocks, cheerleaders, etc.) but leaving out one person who plays the misfit new student.
