Our school is now celebrating Linggo ng Wika, a week dedicated to our national language, Filipino.

Within this week we will be doing all sorts of activities. Each batch is assigned a certain festival for which they will present a dance. Our batch’s festival is the Panagbenga, or the flower festival (in Baguio). We have quite an exciting dance prepared with plenty of stunts and props. :)

Besides dancing, there will also be group contests for singing and reciting poems. For the singing portion my class chose the song “Sandalan” by 6Cycle Mind. We decided to give a story to the song by dividing the class into different stereotypes (geeks, jocks, cheerleaders, etc.) but leaving out one person who plays the misfit new student.

Here are a few pictures from our rehearsal:

Guess who the misfit is!
