Hi, Candy Girls!

What a weekend! I just got back from Batangas with some of my teammates. After getting killed during finals week, we all just wanted to relax and chill under the sun. It was a 4-hour drive to Batangas and we bravely headed North at around 12pm. My two teammates, Max and Gab, gamely provided transportation for everyone. And while the boys rode with Gab, we girls, enjoyed gossip, gossip, and more gossip in Max’s car!

I know I have sinned against the gods of vanity and have failed to bring my digicam to Palawan that weekend. Nonetheless, with the help of the world wide web and my Facebook account, I finally have decent pictures to share with everyone!

This is me and my cousin, Chantelle, in our very own swing!

We had a picnic lunch that day in a small island across the Dos Palmas resort. It took us an hour to get there via boat so you could just imagine how hungry we were when we got there! The food the staff had catered for us was absolutely mouth-watering. I just kept getting second (and third) servings because with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, it was a sin to think of dieting!

With the amazing (read: amazing) workload college has been giving us for the past few weeks, we are all currently pulling our hair out worrying about the next deadline or next long test.

Ladies and gentlemen, my uhm, cramming/studying face. =))

I swear, I’ve never crammed papers like this before. I think you all know what I’m talking about when sleeping becomes unnecessary and your computer is THE only best friend you’d have in school. MS Word seems to be part of your system and being online is a life or death situation. But I think everyone deserves a break from the hazards of school. So when presented with opportunities to sit back, relax, and take a breather, my college friends and I either eat or go bonkers taking crazy pictures around the campus.

I spent last Saturday afternoon bonding with my high school classmates for my friend’s 18th birthday. It really was a unique birthday party because it didn’t involve the conventional 18 roses, 18 treasures, 18 shots, and all the other 18 thingers (I don’t know what to call the others. Lol!) which usually plague debuts . We spent an entire afternoon bonding over good food, great company, and swimming in the infinity pool. We were all pretty hyped about playing while we were in the pool and I guess you could say we wrecked havoc with the games which we uhm, invented. =))
