Day in the Life of Candy

Dear Candy Girls!
I have to send out an apology to all of you. Sorry I haven’t been able to update my blog due to various reasons but I’m back and ready to start the “ber” months right! Since I’ve started college, I’ve been so giddy since I get to paint my nails! I like to make them colorful, dazzling and out of this world fantastic. This may be a “slight” exaggeration but I really love decorating my nails. Here are some pictures of my nails these past months!
If you want something to brighten up your day…
While I was vacationing in the U.S. visiting my relatives, I saw this product on the TV (harhar) and I got tempted to buy this since they said it was easy to apply, had lots of fun designs and would last up to 3 weeks. With advertising like that I couldn’t resist. I was nervous to try it since I wasn’t trained in nail art but to my surprise it wasn’t hard to do it at all. It was like applying stickers to your nails and it felt like real nail polish after the application with no drying needed!
If you want something out of this world…
I really enjoy galactic designs due to my geeky love for star wars. (light sabers and cool dark vader sounds) I wanted my nails to be sparkly! I got this color from Caronia at Watsons and I applied it myself! I love how deep the color was and it it didn’t chip easily!

Eat, Read, Listen, Wear, Carry

Dear Candy Girls,
5 ways on how to make your summer a little more interesting! Enjoy!
- EAT. Grab a slice of Sandy’s Pizza and take a bite into Dairy Queen’s Dilly Bar.
I’ve been a big fan of this pizza place for quite some time because of their awesome flavors. I love the White Pizza which has kuesong puti in it and they even have Chorizo and Thai Chicken Curry! You can even have two different flavors on one pizza! What more could you ask for? Sandy’s PizzaDelivery
721-8334 / 721-8329
San Juan Branch, Makati Branch, Katipunan- WhitePlains Branch! After having pizza, I suggest that you try Dairy Queen’s Dilly Bar. It’s a great combination of the DQ soft serve ice cream dipped in a luscious chocolate flavored coating. I love that it’s just the right amount of ice cream to end a meal perfectly without making you feel bloated.
- READ a love letter written by Mozart
I love to read love letters.Hihi! I was excited to get a copy of “Love Letters of Great Men and Women” edited by Ursula Doyle. Compiled in here are letters from the likes of King Henry VIII to Anne Boleyn and Robert Browning to Elizabeth Barrett. It’s available at National Bookstore. Historically Romantic!

Awesome April

Dear Candy Girls,
I know the title is cheesy…but! This month has been so awesome already and we’re only half-way through it. Summer has started and a lot of things have been going on with me. Check them out!
- I finally decided on my college. I will now be a Fighting Maroon! I also colored my hair for the first time to celebrate! Mwahahaha!

- April 1, 2011 I graduated from high school! Free at last! It looks like I graduated from pre-school if you ask me.

- April 3, 2011 I attended the first ever Candy Fashion Show and met my favorite bloggers! I was seriously shivering when I saw Laureen Uy!

- April 8, 2011 Our high school had our graduation ball and the theme was “Your Basic Fantasy.” My fantasy was Queen Padme Amidala from Star Wars who later on became Jigsaw from Saw+ Fallen Angel+Ballet Dancer in a Tutu… messed up but I loved my outfit. Comfy and fabulous!

- April 9, 2011 Got invited to attend an adorable fashion show at Shangri-La Plaza Mall “Blockbuster Summer at the Shang” Event. They featured collections inspired by 2011 blockbuster movies such as Gnomeo & Juliet, Transformers, and Pirates of the Caribbean. The outfits were selected from the 2011 Summer Collections of Shangri-La Mall’s clothing retail stores including Rustan’s Department Store, Gap and Zara. The kids were too adorable and I love movies so better watch out for them!

For more pictures, which add to the awesome-ness of this Month (I got a new camera) Check out my blog www.lovelovelovetif.blogspot.com. Hope April’s been good to you Candy Girls!

Dear Candy Girls,
Last April 3, 2011 I got to attend the first ever Candy Fashion Show at SM Megamall. Check it out!
Summer theme for the show!
Nothing is better than having models having bubble guns in a fashion show. Such a fun idea!
Ms. Margaux Romero, Candy Stylist! I think Camille Co was aiming to shoot bubbles at her. LOL.

Dear Candy Girls,
Guess what! I learned how to blog!:) I feel like such an achiever. hahaha. Here’s what I’ve learned from blogging so far
- Ideas for blog posts are everywhere, but executing them is the challenge. There are thousands of ideas—millions maybe—for blog post topics. They can come from personal experiences, from reading or from watching movies. Figuring out what to do with them, how to craft a post that educates, engages and entertains, is harder, but also the fun part.
- Standing out from the pack is possible, but it takes time and commitment. Since I’m still new to the blogging world, I still have a lot to learn! ^_^
- Using a variety of posts will help your blog be more interesting. (video, list posts, how-tos, etc) I’m currently completing my 30 Day Challenge Posts.
- Blogging can be addicting. Changing the layout, editing your posts to make them more fun, and changing your design template can take up a lot of your time so learn how to balance it. Don’t let blogging totally consume you.
- Blogging is a great way to express your creativity. Blogging has evolved so much in such a short amount of time. Aside from being somewhat of an online journal for people, blogging can be used in business and has been used to exchange ideas worldwide and promote worthy causes.
I’ve been creating one post a day so I hope you can check out my blog and react to my posts.
I’m still a noob but I will improve my blogging skills soon! Visit: www.lovelovelovetif.blogspot.com

“Smile, it makes a world of difference. Dance, who knows when you won’t be able to? Kiss, it is one of the most wonderful things in this world. Laugh, what is the point in hiding happiness? Hug, there is no better feeling than being wrapped up close to someone you love. Live because life is everything.”
