I know I have sinned against the gods of vanity and have failed to bring my digicam to Palawan that weekend. Nonetheless, with the help of the world wide web and my Facebook account, I finally have decent pictures to share with everyone!

This is me and my cousin, Chantelle, in our very own swing!

We had a picnic lunch that day in a small island across the Dos Palmas resort. It took us an hour to get there via boat so you could just imagine how hungry we were when we got there! The food the staff had catered for us was absolutely mouth-watering. I just kept getting second (and third) servings because with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, it was a sin to think of dieting!

The bad part about the whole picnic lunch was that it rained really hard. I couldn’t hide my disappointment because I really wanted to experience such an amazing set-up. Imagine eating your most favorite food by the beach, with rain shower! Not really an amazing combo now is it? But thanks to the amazing staff and their ingenious efforts to keep all of the guests pretty dry, we still had a blast during the affair.

After lunch, we all headed back to the resort and jumped back into the pool. The resort offered free use of their snorkeling gear so we decided to try on the masks and pretended to be aliens. Thus what you girls can see, is a very attractive picture of my aunt, my cousin, and I. =))

We ended our escapade with a trip to the hotel spa. It was my first time to get a massage and being the very ticklish person that I am, I tried NOT to force out laughter.

The massage was amazing though. I never felt so relaxed! So after the whole thing, all I wanted to do was to curl up in my bed and sleep dinner away.

I had a blast in Palawan with all the fun things that I got to do there. I had great company with me and so everything was double the fun and laughter. If there’s  one thing I love about traveling, it’s the fact that you get to bring your most favorite people along: your family.
