I spent last Saturday afternoon bonding with my high school classmates for my friend’s 18th birthday. It really was a unique birthday party because it didn’t involve the conventional 18 roses, 18 treasures, 18 shots, and all the other 18 thingers (I don’t know what to call the others. Lol!) which usually plague debuts . We spent an entire afternoon bonding over good food, great company, and swimming in the infinity pool. We were all pretty hyped about playing while we were in the pool and I guess you could say we wrecked havoc with the games which we uhm, invented. =))

There were a thousand stories which we had to share and congest in a couple of hours so you could just imagine how hyper and how ecstatic we all became after hearing the new events in each other’s lives.

Sometimes I still can’t believe we’re all pretty grown up already. The responsibilities and issues we tackled back in high school were a lot different to what we’re used to now. I guess the challenges we’re facing right now are definitely a lot more complicated! We’ve all grown mature in more ways than one and I can’t help but reminisce that we used to walk around like little rascals around school!

I grew up with those people, not in a sense that I’ve known them since I was an embryo but in the sense that they really do know every little dent I have. When you grow up with people like that, people who you know so well, people who you trust to an infinite extent, then you realize – you are home.

I am a hundred percent sure that you know exactly what I’m talking about.
