After waiting for a year, the couple finally had a baby. A cute baby boy was born. He was named after his two grandfathers, Enrique and Miguel, thus, the name given to him was Enrique Miguel. But because the pretty cousin *cough, cough* found the name boring, she gave him a nickname. She called him Quiel.

Quiel celebrated his first birthday. And even though his grandmother had nine other grandsons before him, the happiness that was on lola Nelly’s face was indescribable. Quiel gave her so much happiness; you can say that he was her favorite apo.

Quiel celebrated his fifth birthday. The pretty cousin *cough, cough* looked at him in amazement. She couldn’t believe that Quiel is already five years old. It seemed to her that it was like only yesterday when she first held him in her arms and lulled him to sleep. She couldn’t believe that he was so through with the cooing stage, crawling stage and walking with assistance stage. He can even bike on his own already… at five!

The whole clan was waiting for him to walk out of their room. And when he finally came out of the room, the whole clan almost cried. The baby is finally off to school. Can you believe that? The pretty cousin *cough, cough* said “Grabe tita, ang tanda ko na!”

“Ate, I have a star!” And because the pretty cousin *cough, cough* is a proud ate, she couldn’t resist taking a picture of Quiel with his notebook with a big red star in it. But she forgot that she has to share to you, she used a lomo with a new roll of film. (ugh, sorry!)
Proud ate,
