A (Very) Late Summer

Goodness gracious! I have two blog entries while the rest of my co-COC members are up and typing six entries already! My apologies for being absent in the Candy blogosphere. Aside from having a few technical difficulties, I was away from Manila for the past couple of days but now I am back, typing away my life so I can share it with you, dear Candy girls!
I came from a 6-day vacation in Anilao and Boracay and I’ve turned extremely dark already! My friend, Raffy, celebrated her 18th birthday in the beautiful shores of Anilao because she didn’t want the conventional 18 roses to be parading her birthday. I had so much fun because I was able to spend time with my college, as well as some of my high school friends! I wasn’t able to see them during the summer because we all had classes and our schedules really didn’t fit in with one another. Anilao was the perfect venue to catch up with another while having a lot of fun under the sun!

Chilling with my high school friends, Otts and Santi

College friends, unite! I look so white here!
A couple of days later, I caught the 6am flight to take me all the way to the beautiful island of Boracay! Tita Jill decided to get married there (how romantic!) so you have no idea how excited my cousins and I were when we found out about the good news. It was my first time in Boracay and I couldn’t have spent it with anyone other than my family and my friends.

With the bride and the groom in their very own sailboat!
I’m currently back to school, embracing the Katipunan traffic (and the pollution that comes along with it). I still have the summer hang-over though and I doubt it’s going to go away soon. I had too much fun during the last couple of days that I didn’t want to catch that plane back to Manila.
Nonetheless, it’s back to the books and to the scary professors. I have a thick Psychology book right beside me that needs to be read in time for my class tomorrow. I have my Theo book and my green high-lighter in tow and a scientific calculator which is collecting dust bunnies by the minute.
Anilao and Boracay together was enough to make up for my six weeks of summer class. So honestly, I cannot wait for my next summer escapade!
I’m sure you’re psyched for yours as well.
Praying for summer to move a wee bit faster,
Sandra
