In a few more weeks, school’s about to start, and to the unfortunate ones who start their classes earlier than usual, spending time away from the noise is, more often than not, the master plan.

I just got back from Cabangan, Zambales (Ah! 2 nights and 3 days well spent!), and I must say, nothing beats the sound of waves, getting a tan, and of course, the company of crazy-yet-super-amazing friends!

With Treeya and her skimpers!;) The place was beautiful. The flag says it all. Haha
It’s funny, when you’re in a sort-of secluded place, away from the bustling city, time seems to always be there in your hands – too much time, though. It’s running slowly.
It’s surprising, the thought of having dinner and putting sea-sand interactions to a halt gets frustrating when you find out all of a sudden that it’s too early for dinner and you could’ve stayed longer in the water… much longer!
And, it’s too late ’cause you’re pretty much already clean and clad! Haha
Oh, and fast food becomes gourmet! I remember traveling for an hour with one of my friends just to get 1pc chicken and a donut. Talk about desperation! Haha!
Overall, it was a crazy fun experience. I realized afterwards how great it is to have friends whom you know are for keeps. The trip made me appreciate them more (Yes! Even more than fast food) and love them for all they’re worth. It may not be easy and perfect all the time, but we know as we venture on in life, we have each others shoulders to lean on and arms for shaking when things get out of hand!
