When one hears the name Lily Collins, he/she would instantly think she’s a daughter of British singer-songwriter Phil Collins (which is very true!). But don’t just stick to that, 'cause Lily's been making her own name in the business right before she starred in Abduction (alongside Twilight star Taylor Lautner) and Mirror Mirror! Hint: When she was still a teenager, Lily wrote out columns for Elle Girl (a British magazine), Seventeen, Teen Vogue, and Los Angeles Times Magazines. How cool is that?
And under all these belts of achievements of hers, it seems like she'll follow the lead of Twilight actress Kristen Stewart and The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence in 2013 on her newest film, Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Lily plays the role of Clary Fray, a seemingly ordinary teenage girl, who finds out truths about her past and bloodline on a quest to get back her mother who has been kidnapped by a demon. Discovering a world of supernatural wonder and danger she joins forces with the Shadow Hunters, a group of warriors whose mission in life is to vanquish the demonic presence in all worlds.
