2NE1's Dara (aka Sandara) Park revealed that when she got her head half-shaven for their group's newest single, I Love You (released July 5), she felt a little upset and ended up crying. The singer also said that it wasn't easy getting it.
"CL suggested it so I tried it. I did shed some tears, but I do like it," Dara said. "I wanted to do something shocking and was worrying about what to do when she gave me this good idea."
"I finally understand how men who shave their heads for the army feel," Dara then said with a smile.
CL, her bandmate, then added, "At first, our stylist told me to do, but I just couldn't. So when I saw Sandara crying, I felt really bad. I was going to do it first, but I thought it might appear too strong, so I recommended Sandara Park, since she has a pretty face."
Looks like Dara loves her new hairstyle, as she revealed to the interview that she had to shave it three times already because her hair grows so quickly.You go, Dara!
