Yes, it is reported that curly-haired Harry Styles of One Direction is currently in talks to play young Mick Jagger, the Rolling Stones frontman, in a new film. News has it that Harry bears a striking resemblance to the Rolling Stones star (do you see that resemblance?) and this became the reason for him to be in talks for this new film.
"Harry on stage can pass as a dead ringer for Jagger," a source tells The Mirror. "If he can transform this image into a movie role then he's going to be a serious candidate to get the part. The signs so far are good."
Just like Mick Jagger, 18-year-old Harry is widely known for his popularity among the ladies—even to 14 years his age! 1D's fans and international entertainment media know that he dated 32-year-old British X Factor host Caroline Flack earlier this year (the two already separated).
Currently in US for One Direction's North America tour, Harry will formally audition for the film, titled Exile On Main St. after the Rolling Stones' 10th album.
But before anything else, we're thinking: What will happen to One Direction if Harry takes on this film's major role?
According to The People, the film will undoubtedly put a strain on the hit British-Irish boy band.
“The film is going to be a lot of work and very demanding... If Harry takes the part it will lead to concerns about his involvement with One Direction.
"The band is his main priority but it is flattering to have so much interest from such senior people in the film industry—he couldn't miss this opportunity."
