Err, I'm not entirely moving to that blog. I just uh... I don't know what you call it. Lol.I'm not abandoning this blog. Of course, my writings are written in here. But I can't dare read it. Can't tell why.It's very early, and I'm rushing on it. My brother's speech...Err yeah, he was supposed to be the one doing it.One day, I'm going to make speeches for myself. LOL. Ambitions, ambitions. Yeah, I need those. Because one day, I will become a writer. No matter what they say.Living here is like taking a tour around a distant island, where I know nothing about. One minute, I'm in my own country, then suddenly it’s like my body was being dragged away by a black hole, refusing to let go. Or perhaps it was a tornado, because it feels more like it.I live in my own skin and as days go by, every puny thing seems to change. One time, I went someplace familiar, someplace where I used to play tag alone when I was little. It wasn’t a very long walk, in fact, it was a long drive. I made my way there without cutting myself. Thank goodness.But time mutilated everything. The grass where I used to roll over, the little tree where I used to dance with, the big rock at the far end of the field where I used to stand on weren’t there anymore. Everything seemed alien to me. I thought I was standing before a graveyard.But I wasn’t. Because what spread before me was the very land I used to love. I just need to learn how to accept the ugly truth.A lesson learned. We change whether we like it or not. Of course we can’t just swallow the bitter fact – that everything changes, that anything that walked the earth withers and eventually dies. You cannot change it for it’s there, and it will be. You cannot change change.But you could still change your life. And you have the freedom to choose how to live. That is the golden privilege humans receive. We make our lives, we make our choice.Nobody wants to sleep on the floor forever. Nobody wants to shrink into the corners of the society.But how do we advance? It all starts with a dream, I believe. Everyone has it. That is the reason why we all work, why students study, why children lay awake at night, thinking about his own future. Imagination molds it, our actions hold it.In this place where we live, our dreams hang like a star, untouchable. Yet it seems so close, so tiny. Well, that’s what others believe. Our country, being poor and all, has nothing to do with us reaching our dreams. It has something to do with us. Because it was, after all, our dreams. The country has nothing to do with it. Yet, it has something to do with our lives.All this time, what people wanted was to better this mother land of ours. They want the government to change if everything turns out bad. Those kind of people, in my opinion, do not even bother thinking about themselves first. How does the body move? It needs strength. So, how does a country move?If we could just delve deeper into ourselves. If we would just consider that this country’s fate is in our hands. We could do much better. We could change for the better.I'm sorry if it's not well-written. It's four in the morning, for heaven's sake. And I did rush on it.
