i saw this as a bulletin in friendster by one of my close friends.PREPARE YOUR SELF. this actually made me cry:When you were 8 yearsold, your mom handed you an icecream. You thanked he r by dripping itall over your lap.When you were 9 years old, she paid forpiano lessons. You thanked her bynever even bothering to practice.When you were 10 years old she droveyou all day, from soccer to footballto one birthday party after another.You thanked her by jumping out of thecar and never looking back.Whe n you were 11 years old, she tookyou and your friends to the movies.You thanked her by asking to sit in adifferent row.When you were 12 years old, she warnedyou not to watch certain TV shows. Youthanked her by waiting until she leftthe house.Wh en you were 13, she suggested ahaircut that was becoming. You thankedher by telling her she had no taste.When you were 14, she paid for a monthaway at summer camp. You thanked her byforgetting to write a single letter.When you were 15, she came home fromwork, looking for a hug. You thankedher by having your bedroom door locked.When you were 16, she taught you howto drive her car. You thanked her bytaking it every chance you could.When you were 17, she was expectingan important call. You thanked her bybeing on the phone all night.When you were 18, she cried at yourhigh school graduation . You thankedher by staying out partying until dawn.When you were 19, she paid for yourcollege tuition, drove you to campuscarried your bags. You thanked her bysaying good-bye outside the dorm so youwouldn't be embarrassed in front ofyour friends.When you were 25, she helped to payfor your wedding, and she cried andtold you how deeply she loved you. Youthanked her by moving halfway acrossthe country.When you were 50, she fell ill andneeded you to take care of her. Youthanked her by reading about theburden parents become to theirchildren.An d then, one day, shequietlydied.And everything you never did camecrashing down like thunder on YOUR HEART..
