It all started with a comment from a friend telling me how pale and sickly I looked. And so I searched for weeks for the perfect blush. I tried so many products: creams, tints, powders, stains, but I failed miserably because they either made me look too orange (clownish) or too red (hangover much?). Finally, after weeks of searching, I found the product that gives me a nice, natural flush.

Dandelion is a sweet ballerina pink color, perfect for vampire-looking cheeks like mine. I love it because it’s hard to overdo and you’ll just look naturally rosy and pretty with its subtle shimmer. My friend has noticed that I no longer look pale or sickly so I guess it really does the trick!

I admit, I like making wishlists. Even if I don’t exactly get the things I wish for, it’s always fun to dream about them and imagine what life would be like. Kidding aside, here are some items on my wishlist right now.

Hello Kitty Ipod Speakers. The image speaks for itself. Super adorable!

Alcatel OneTouch Glam 810D. Look at this cute pink phone! It’s so tiny it looks like a compact. There’s also a dedicated Facebook button so you’ll stay connected all the time.

I sure hope Santa will give me these cute gadgets for Christmas this year!

Sometimes, all you need is a pair of sparkly shoes to remind you that life is always full of surprises and that the best is yet to come. Wearing these shoes make me smile and dream about the future, and how we are all exactly where we need to be at the moment.

Hi, Candy Girls!

I’ve been coughing and sneezing like mad the past few weeks so I can’t help but feel a little grumpy and uninspired. But then I realized that there are so many things to be grateful for and with that my grumpy slump has vanished.

Here are some random surprises that helped cheer me up!

So it’s not always the big things, it can be as simple as candies or cupcakes, or seeing the finished product of the book you worked hard on.

I’ve been a fan of Goody hair products for as long as I can remember. My ultimate favorite product would be the Ouchless Ponytails because they really last a long time. I also love that they’re constantly improving their products and now they have a new line called Simple Styles.

The Spin Pins if you want the messy buns, Modern Updo to create easy chignons, Pony Pouf if you want extra volume on your ponytail, and the Bun Spiral if you want the perfect classic ballerina bun.

I was so excited to try the Bun Spiral because I’ve always loved the ballerina bun look. Mimi helped me with it (Thanks, Mim!) and here’s how my hair looked after:
