i’m back!
Thursday, July 20th, 2006Hi all, I'm back after a two-month hiatus. I hope ya'll didn't forget me. Anyway, I have much to write about but can't quite get my thoughts together, so I'll just stagger my "kwento" in the days to come. Needless to say, it's good to be back. Candy girls, keep emailing me your beauty questions and I'll do my best to answer!

Bejeweled and Bewildered

Ok, so I went to the Shu Uemura Bejeweled event last week and I must say I am completely bewildered at the lengths companies go through to market their products. Do you know that the prizes for the most "dazzling" ladies of the night were custom made bejeweled Motorola Razr V3is? And by bejeweled, I mean real rubies, sapphires and diamonds!!!! Of course Ruffa Gutierrez won the diamond phone. I’m not sure she was super dazzling that night, but it’s hard to miss her because she’s so tall… Anyway, the other highlight of the night was that I met Shu Uemura International’s Chief Makeup Artist — Kakuyia (or something like that) Uchide. He’s pretty hot :> And so cool when he was demonstrating how to put on make up! Sigh

It’s Getting Hot in Here
Wednesday, March 29th, 2006The heat is just so oppressive! Every step I take in the heat is torture! AGH. It was so hot yesterday that I had a hard time breathing! Can you believe it? Plus, i didn’t put an ounce of makeup. I didn’t even curl my lashes. Shee. But I’m being a bad example. Don’t neglect your beauty duties just because of the heat! At the very least apply lip balm and curl lashes. Sigh. Ok, I’m feeling hot just writing this. Til next time!
