This will most likely sound really superficial of me but every so often I get this sudden urge to do something with my hair. Although, the most drastic things I’ve ever really done with it is cut 10 inches of it and dye it dark brown—drastic for me that is! I guess you can say this is me just being maarte but I can’t seem to pick how exactly to change up my current (boring) hairstyle which I can sum up in a phrase: long and coarse with 4 inches of my black roots showing.

Anyways, I should get to the point already….basically, I need help picking what to do with my current long hair! I’m definitely due for a trim but somehow I want to do something more. So that you could see exactly what I’m dealing with, this is a recent photo of myself (thanks Macy):

And with that, here are the different hairstyles I keep going back to and I just can’t seem to pick one.

Ombre (light brown and not blonde)

Dyeing it dark chocolate brown so my black hair can fade into it better

Perming it for loose waves

Cutting some bangs which I haven’t done in so many years

Chopping off lots of layers (which is most daring of all, for me that is)

So there goes my dilemma…what to do, what to do? I’m still stumped, which is why I would love it greatly if you could give me your two cents on what I should do! Feel free to dish out whatever advice you can give me, I’m ready for all your hair tips and I would appreciate every single one. So here goes nothing….HELP!
