Whenever I’m having a bad day or not feeling particularly sunshine-y, I try to think of all the best parts of the day. Sometimes they’re just the simplest, most basic things in the world—like a warm shower on a cold morning—but they make me the happiest!

I find that when you are able to extract joy from these little things, you instantly feel better about yourself and slowly forget about whatever crappy thing happened to you.

Here are a few things that cheered me up this week:

Planning for another fun project that involves very cute boys. (:
Finishing an article after three different tries. (I hope you guys like it!)
Watching Beyonce reunite with Destiny’s Child—and doing live commentary with the Candy Girls, haha!
Remembering all the lines from Mean Girls. “On Wednesdays, we wear pink!”
Getting to watch my shows. So happy that Smash is back!
Having yummy sisig tacos after work. (:
Ending the week with game night with my barkada.
And finishing the weekend, learning a new craft!
