I’m so excited for two new shows out this week on Jack TV and ETC–both of which have a connection with the lovely Kristin Kreuk.

First up is Arrow which premieres tomorrow, October 14 (Sunday) at 8 pm on Jack TV. Gorgeous Stephen Amell plays Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy who gets marooned on an island for five years (yikes!). When he finally gets rescued and returns home to Starling City, the people he left behind (his mom, sister, ex-girlfriend, and best bud) senses something different with him. Truth be told, the island turned him into a weapon–a secret which he plans to use to defend innocent people. By day, Oliver pretends to live the life of his former carefree self, but by night, he becomes a vigilante known as Arrow who fights the corrupt people of his city. KK Connection: Arrow is short for Green Arrow, a superhero who has also appeared on the TV show Smallville which Kristin was once a part of. She played Lana Lang–Clark Kent’s teenage love.

Next up is Beauty and the Beast which will be first shown on ETC on October 16 (Tuesday) at 9 pm. The story revolves around a girl who witnessed her mother’s brutal killing and was saved by a “beast” from her mother’s killers. Nine years after, she is a homicide detective who uncovers DNA that leads her to search for a dead man–a man that you can say has a solid link to her past. Intrigued? You’ll want to watch it even more after seeing this teaser.
KK Connection: “Beauty” will be played by Kristin Kreuk. Not such a big surprise if you already recognized her in the picture above. Haha!
