How to DIY: Neon Necklace

For someone whose default outfit palette is best represented by a lack or absence of color (see also: black) I wasn’t sure how I would pull off a neon outfit for this year’s Candy Fair. Having said that, I did come to the realization that I own a ton of accessories and a ton of neon nail polish, so what better time to experiment and combine the two?

All you have to do is grab an old rhinestone necklace (like this one that I used on Linn Oeymo for our prom shoot last year) and paint over selected gems in different colors.

It’s a super easy and cheap way to transform something you already have and breathe some new life into it. :)

Have any other cool DIY ideas in preparation for the fair?
