Day in the Life of Candy

Any place that serves yummy cookies deserves a spot in my list of Happy Places. It’s been 5 years since my first encounter with Mrs. Fields in Manila and I’m looking forward to more!

This year, Mrs. Fields is celebrating its 35th birthday!

Who celebrates without the requisite dessert table? We sampled cookies and brownies and even savory treats before devouring our lunch (did you know that Mrs. Fields Cafes serve pasta and sandwiches too?). I loved the hand dipped cookies and the key lime cookies with white chocolate.

Took every bit of willpower not to finish this pretty platter of nibblers. Don’t you just love their ooey gooey chewy cookies?

And what’s a birthday without gifts? Did you know you can actually get gift sets at Mrs. Fields? You can get this quaint cookie jar and have them fill it up with yummy cookies!

Handcrafted cookie cakes are the perfect gift for anyone with a sweet tooth. Have them pipe a special message on the cake for that extra touch.

To find out more about Mrs. Fields log on to their website or visit any of their branches!

Love,
Macy :cakeslice:
