Yup, you read that right! We’ve started searching for the next batch of girls who’ll have the honor of being part of the Candy Council of Cool. If you’ve been reading the COC blog or checking out the All Access pages, then you probably know that these girls get to do all sorts of awesome stuff like interview celebrities, attend fun events, help out at photo shoots, write articles, and more!

But as Spider-Man’s Uncle Ben said, “With great power comes great responsibility.” You need some special qualities and skills to be part of this elite group. Do you have what it takes?

A COC girl is…
1. A good writer. She makes sure there are no grammatical errors in her articles!
2. Creative. She can come up with unique ideas and concepts for features.
3. Confident. She’s sure of herself without being mayabang.
4. Hardworking. She submits her articles on time, knows how to follow instructions, and is willing to learn from her mistakes.
5. Smart. She can come up with good questions and conduct interviews with anyone, whether a celeb, a Candy Cutie, a fellow teen, or an adult.
6. Resilient. She has a positive outlook in life and is not willing to let anything get her down.
7. Well-Rounded. She has varied interests and is always game to try new things.
8. Unique. She’s not afraid to be herself!
9. A Good Role Model. She can set a good example to her fellow Candy readers.
10. A Candy Girl! She is a loyal reader who is familiar with all the magazine’s sections and who knows what Candy is really all about.

So if you want to be a part of the next Council of Cool, grab a copy of our August issue (yes, it’s out and it’s got the lovely Lucy Hale on the cover!), to know the requirements and how to join.
