So I’m supposed to be on a super strict diet, right? (Let’s just say I’m preparing for a big event this September *cough-Candy Fair-cough* and next March!) And you know how when you’re trying to be “good,” the devil starts lurking around and tempting you even more? Well, that’s exactly what happened the past week!

First, this oh-so-good-but-oh-so-bad box of Kruffins arrived from Krispy Kreme. I am by no means saying that Krispy Kreme is the devil, but man, these Kruffins are deliciously sinful! So yes, I couldn’t resist taking a bite (or two).

Next to tempt me: these jars of sweet cookies from Conti’s (there were brownies, too!). Again, I fell down from heaven and took a bite (or three). A box of donuts from Country Style arrived later that evening, but my guardian angels, the Candy Girls, reminded me that it was time to be good!

And just yesterday, my uncle celebrated his birthday and there was this humongous, caramel cake from Estrel’s—one of my favorites! Let’s just say, I’d been good the whole weekend, so I allowed myself a few bites.

Here’s hoping I’ll have fewer temptations this week (though I highly doubt it)… or maybe I’ll just pray for stronger willpower to resist! Haha!
