Belated Happy Independence Day, Candy Girls! 
In the spirit of nationalism, local clothing brand Freeway recently launched Freeway x Levi Celerio. This collection is part of the National Artist Collectors’ Series, which pays tribute to the country’s best artists.
Levi Celerio is a Filipino composer and lyricist. He wrote more than 4,000 songs—among them are popular pieces, such as “Saan Ka Man Naroroon?,” “Kahit Konting Pagtingin,” “Sa Ugoy ng Duyan,” “Ang Pipit,” “Itik-Itik,” and many more. He was also in the Guinness Book of World Records as the only man who could play music with a leaf! On October 9, 1997, he was proclaimed National Artist for Music and Literature.

I super love “Sa Ugoy ng Duyan.” I remember singing that with my grade school choir.
