Day in the Life of Candy
Hi, Candy guys and gals!
About two weeks ago, I went on a trip to Bali, Indonesia with my college friends. It was such an amazing and enchanting island! No words can really express the beauty of the place, so I’ll just let my photos do the talking.
Villa Annecy in Seminyak—our home for four days
Having my palm read by Ketut Liyer—yes, he’s the same medicine man from Eat, Pray, Love (the book and the movie). He told me I was “very very lucky!”
The lovely Lotus Pond Temple in Ubud
Sunset at Tanah Lot, a temple by the sea
Breathtaking view from Uluwatu, a temple on the cliff
The Kecak Dance, a Balinese cultural show featuring scenes from the Ramayana. It’s unique because there’s no musical accompaniment—only about 70 chanting men!
Kite flying at Seminyak Beach. It’s a great place for surfing too!
Another reason why this trip to Bali was so memorable? I got engaged! So grateful to all my friends who helped make it a fun and romantic proposal.
