If there’s anything I love more than Nick Jonas (and Logan Lerman… and Andrew Garfield… and ok, wait, I’m getting distracted here), it’s food. I can scrimp on shopping (ukay-ukay FTW!), makeup (drugstore brands can surprise you), and everything else, but I will never regret spending money on chow.

Aside from the act of eating—no, devouring—I also enjoy the company of people when I’m dining. My family loves to eat, my friends love to eat, even everyone on the Candy team loves to eat! So it’s no surprise when I amass a number of photos of food.

Here are just a few of my food trips chronicled:

1. Gavino’s Doughnut Balls – They’re not your regular airy doughnut, but these chewy balls of dough are quite tasty! I got the chocolate, bavarian, and strawberry variants, but you can try the green tea if you’re feeling adventurous, haha. They go for P250 for 18 pieces.
2. UCC Kori Kohi – which Angel talked about in a previous entry already (:
3. DIY Tacos – My friend Mikko set up an awesome taco bar for our barkada last Tuesday. She had soft and hard shell tacos, lettuce, 2 kinds of salsa, corn, refried beans, your choice of chicken or beef, onions, cilantro, lime, sour cream, and cheese. Can’t wait for the next Taco Tuesday!
4. Veggie Leap Dinner – Everyone who knows me can attest that vegetables have no place in my food pyramid (please don’t follow me, I am a bad example in that aspect). But when we shot Pipino for the site, I swore I’d go back for the Portobello burger. So last night, my college best buds and I had dinner there and we feasted on their Mushroom Salpicao, Wicked Walnut Salad, Garlic Soup, and Stuffed Portobello Cheeseburger. We capped off the night with Vegan Coconut Ice Cream (SO GOOOOOOD!) and an Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie.
