Hey, Candy Girls!

I come bearing kilig news: my friend A.M. Bernal got engaged to her long-time boyfriend at the UP Fair last week—onstage with Yeng Constantino! Talk about the love week! I wasn’t there to witness it myself but, luckily, someone posted the entire thing on YouTube.

Yeng was in the middle of her song “Pag-ibig” when she pulled A.M. onstage and asked her to recite a few lines. Then, Yeng called le boyfriend and he went down on his knees to propose. I guess A.M. was so overwhelmed that she could only say “Okay” over and over again. Aww, so sweet!

Fun fact: The show that night was named “A Date with Destiny.” Coincidence? I think not.
