What We Make: Paper Snowflakes
December 13th, 20111 Comment
I was so obsessed with making these paper snowflakes last year, I was still making them well into the New Year! This year, I slacked off on Christmas shopping (I have NO gifts for anyone yet! Eep!) but I still want to wrap up my non-existent gifts in brown paper bags and paper snowflakes.

These are super easy to make and I’ll teach you in 8 simple steps!
- Start with a square piece of paper (I like using memo pad paper so I don’t need to worry about getting the size right).
- Fold it in half so that it become a triangle.
- Fold that triangle in half again to get an even smaller triangle. Make sure all the edges are even!
- Fold the triangle’s 2 bottom corners towards the middle so that you get that shape in the fourth photo.

- Cut the excess parts.
- You’ll get a triangle that kind of looks like a party hat.
- Now this is the part where you get creative. You can trace out a pattern if you want, but I just wing it.
- It’s always fun unraveling the paper and getting surprised with how the snowflake turns out.
Simple enough, right? Try it!
Love,
Macy
