The Candy Team trooped to Robinsons Place Manila today for the opening of the newest Häagen-Dazs branch. We’re all big fans so we came in full force (minus Margaux and Roch who are still in the US)!

Here we are with COC10’s Cre and Häagen-Dazs PR Nana, who invited us to the event. (Thanks, girl!)

After a hearty merienda of salad, chicken, mozarella squares, and mini fish burgers from TGIF, we were served cups of Dark Chocolate Orange ice cream. It may sound odd, but I just looove this combination—the sweet dark chocolate complements perfectly with tangy orange rinds!

Mia, Mimi, and I finished our ice cream down to the very last drop.

Just when we thought we couldn’t eat any more, the Häagen-Dazs crew served us their yummy Christmas creations.

Mia and Marla shared the Chocolate Christmas Spire which consists of a scoop of Belgian Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Orange ice cream, served on top of a layer of Cookies and Cream ice cream and warm Brownie cake—YUM!!! Looks like ours got an extra topping. Haha!

Cre and Steph enjoyed the Chocolate Temptation, with pretzel sticks on top of two butter cookies, layered with scoops of Dark Chocolate Orange, Midnight Cookies and Cream, Belgian Chocolate, Cappuccino Truffle and Tiramisu, garnished with almond bits and cherries.
