Day in the Life of Candy

Meet and Greet

Hi, Candy girls!

Sorry I've been out of commission for a while — have been dealing with a lot of things lately. But since everything's pretty much going to calm down soon (or at least that's what I'm hoping!), I'm back on track — feeling a bit out of sorts today (have a strange pressure headache) but ready to get back to work :)

Anyway, wanted to share this with you guys. Last week, I got several requests for interviews (maybe it's because it's almost the end of the sem or maybe teachers always assign the SAME assignment! I swear — the questions are so similar, I feel like a broken record! at least I practice my answers haha!) and even if it's hard for me to schedule interviews, I try to because I love meeting Candy girls! (It's a bit frustrating when the girl interviewing me knows NOTHING about Candy! Makes me wonder why they picked Candy to do their assignment on in the first place!). But so far, this interview with Leanne, Bea, Kath, and Cha was one of my best interviews ever! They were so sweet AND they brought us goodies — which was sooooo good, gals! Thanks again! But what I loved most of all was that they were true blue Candy girls and it showed! :)

To all the Candy girls out there — I love you all! MWAH!

love, Ines

Thank you again for your time! :) We really appreciate it. We know you are very busy yet you still managed to grant our request for an interview for our Principles of Mass Comm subject.

We learned a lot from your experiences, stories and advice. We didn’t only accomplish our project but we had fun as well. It was an experience we will never forget.

I just wanna share with the candy girls that we were sooooo starstruck with you. :) hehe.. So nice and pretty. :) At first, we were nervous but then you made us feel comfortable all throughout the interview.

Candy is a part of our lives already and we’ll always be Candy girls. I’ll never outgrow my love for Candy. :)

[...] And for that project, we got the chance to interview Ate Ines Bautista-Yao. Yes, former EIC of Candy magazine. We were star struck since we only see her every month in her headshots; it was different seeing her and actually talk to her. But I am proud to say, I handled my being star struck pretty well. The interview was awesome and I felt so comfortable talking with her. She even blogged about us: here check it out: Meet and Greet [...]
