A SUPER Comeback
Hey girls!
Have you guys seen Superman Returns? It's a fact: Brandon Routh is SUPER HOT!!! He can pull off being SUPER DORKY one second, then being SUPER STRONG the next. Love his baby blues and the cleft chin, but sometimes, I got distracted by the signature curl he was sporting whenever he'd turn into the Man of Steel—as in it was ALWAYS there! (While watching the movie, whenever Clark would turn into Superman, my sister would say, "Ang galing niya! He had time to have his hair curled pa!" Hahaha!)
My friend Blanche and I were fans of '90s TV show The Adventures of Lois and Clark (starring Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher), and we were really hoping something would happen between the two leads in the movie! But alas, Lois only has eyes for the dashing superhero. But anyway… Aside from ogling at Brandon, I had a good time laughing at Kitty/Parker Posey's silly comments. I also LOVE James Marsden (I've been keeping an eye on him way back when he was doing teen flicks like Disturbing Behavior), so I'm happy he had a bigger role here compared to his X-Men 3 character. BTW, I hated that movie!
What about you, have you seen Superman Returns? What did you think of it? :-) And also, who's your all-time favorite superhero? Mine would have to be Gambit (although he's not really considered a superhero by most people). OH! Speaking of Gambit, my crush Channing Tatum (She's The Man) apparently auditioned for the part of Gambit for X-Men 3. Sadly, the character wasn't in the final script so they obviously didn't get him for the flick. I just caught it last night! I loved him so much! But I was soooooo bitin!!!! I guess they left a lot of unresolved issues for a sequel. I wanted more scenes between Lois and Clark — (maybe because of that TV show! haha! But because Dean Cain who played Clark was not bumbling and clumsy at all, it was so obvious he was Superman!) — and I felt so bad that she kept brushing him off! Grr. But there’s no denying that Brandon Routh is hot hot hot!

He looks exactly like the old superman (Christopher Reeves) and Kate Bosworth has really good taste in clothes! Her look is really smart,stylish and polished! hehe..loved the movie ;-)

wow! i’m surprised you also like channing tatum! i saw step up’s trailer and whoaw!!! ang galing nya! i have to watch that! =) but for now… superman returns muna! btw, between brandon and channing, who do you like better?

i love superman. haha. i think Brandon Routh is super hot too. ^_^ i loved the movie.. it’s sad that Lois and Clark didn’t actually end up together..
but their son is super cute too! haha. especially when he made the piano swerve in order to save his mummy from the bad guy! haha. coolness.

their son is cute nga and i love the piano scene also! hehehe!
i’m so glad superman is back! he’s my favorite superhero!!!:) it’s so funny because when my family watched it last night, and then during the scene na lois and superman first made eye contact dun sa plane…people in the cinema are all kilig (i can here sighs and “yihees!”!) hahaha!

i just watched superman yesterday……… he’s my hero!!!! i remember yesterday sa moviehouse, there was this all-girl barkada… and then when lois pulled back from superman because he was gonna kiss her, they were like “what the hell?! sayang naman!!!!!!!!!!” tapos they passed the popcorn around… lol! and i DO agree.. brandon routh is hot-t!!!!!!!

Brandon Routh is okay… he’s not as good as Christopher Reeve. Dorky or Superman- he still looks like this CK model. he totally lost the mannerisms of Clark Kent. Well that is if you compare him and Christopher Reeve. Peace out.
