Hey girls!

Have you guys seen Superman Returns? It's a fact: Brandon Routh is SUPER HOT!!! He can pull off being SUPER DORKY one second, then being SUPER STRONG the next. Love his baby blues and the cleft chin, but sometimes, I got distracted by the signature curl he was sporting whenever he'd turn into the Man of Steel—as in it was ALWAYS there! (While watching the movie, whenever Clark would turn into Superman, my sister would say, "Ang galing niya! He had time to have his hair curled pa!" Hahaha!) 

My friend Blanche and I were fans of '90s TV show The Adventures of Lois and Clark (starring Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher), and we were really hoping something would happen between the two leads in the movie! But alas, Lois only has eyes for the dashing superhero. But anyway… Aside from ogling at Brandon, I had a good time laughing at Kitty/Parker Posey's silly comments. I also LOVE James Marsden (I've been keeping an eye on him way back when he was doing teen flicks like Disturbing Behavior), so I'm happy he had a bigger role here compared to his X-Men 3 character. BTW, I hated that movie! 

What about you, have you seen Superman Returns? What did you think of it? :-) And also, who's your all-time favorite superhero? Mine would have to be Gambit (although he's not really considered a superhero by most people). OH! Speaking of Gambit, my crush Channing Tatum (She's The Man) apparently auditioned for the part of Gambit for X-Men 3. Sadly, the character wasn't in the final script so they obviously didn't get him for the flick. P.S. Doing this feature was really fun for me because I have no brothers. I found it really interesting to see how real brothers play and work together. I'm amazed at how close Champ and Chino, and Yan and Yael are! Made me wish I had a brother too! What about you? Do you have any brothers? What's your relationship with them like? Tell me about it! :)

Whew! Just got back from another TV interview. “Liga ng Kababaiahan”, a show on QTV Channel 11, hosted by Suzy Entrata, Lyn Ching and Atty Gaby Concepcion (who happens to be a former teacher of mine) asked me, and Zo Aguila, Cosmopolitan’s Managing Editor about the latest must-wears, fashion trends and accessories to buy. Was supposed to bring my camera and take a few pictures of behind the scenes for you but boo-hoo, my sister had to use it for school. Anyway, you can catch the episode on Monday, July 3 which will air at 10PM.

Despite having been interviewed on TV a lot of times before, there’s still something about the bright lights and the camera in front of me that gets me all scared when the camera man shouts “rolling!” I guess that’s why I prefer to work “behind-the-scenes.” A teacher gave me a tip–to take 3 deep breaths before a big performance or speech. How about you? What’s your “conquer-your-fear” strategy?
