The prequel of Encantadia did not just take the viewers to a whole different dimension with their magical kingdoms and powerful brilyantes, it took the viewers to a fashion and beauty world that's elegant, on-point, and 100% fashionable, too! While we love all the Sang'gre's beauty looks on the show, Sang'gre Alena's hair game never fails to catch our attentions here at the Candy HQ. Whether she's rocking a chic updo or letting her long waves down, she makes us regret cutting our hair short every single time she comes out on screen.

Just like us, we know that you guys would love to cop Alena's 'do, too! So we went ahead and asked Gabbi Garcia's hairstylist Mark Rosales to give us the lowdown on how you can achieve Sang'gre Alena's waves. Read on and learn how you can rock Sang'gre-approved hair without breaking a sweat!

One. Before doing anything to your hair, the first and most important step in achieving Sang'gre Alena's waves is to use a heat protecting product to guard your hair against heat and friction, which can be caused by different styling tools.

Try: Keratin Smooth Heat Defense Spray, Tresemme

Two. It's important to let your hair dry completely before styling. I blow-dry Gabbi's hair using an Acca Kappa roller brush to keep it naturally shiny and smooth.

Try: Styling Porcupine Brush For Fine Hair, Acca Kappa

Three. A product that I absolutely swear by is the Ouia wave spray. It helps you achieve a nice bounce and adds body and texture to the hair, perfect for a wavy 'do like Alena's.

Try: OUAI Wave Spray, Sephora.PH

Four. One secret to achieving the perfect Sang'gre waves is to use the right curling iron. I use the wander curling rod set from @candyblushhair for Gabbi's locks to create long-lasting waves in different sizes.

Five. After curling the hair, use a texturizing spray to build more volume and texture.

Six. Since Gabbi's hair is already naturally shiny, I use a pomade to tame her baby hair and mist it with hairspray afterwards to seal the deal.
