The Academy Awards, simply called The Oscars, is one of the biggest ceremonies honoring achievements in the film industry. If you haven't watched any of this year's nominated films yet or you only watched some of them, don't worry. We've got you covered.

American Hustle

An FBI agent (Bradley Cooper) teams up with two con artists (Christian Bale and Amy Adams) to entrap the mayor of New Jersey (Jeremy Renner) in this comedy-crime movie.

Captain Phillips

Based on a true story, Tom Hanks plays Captain Phillips—captain of the US container ship Maersk Alabama, which was hijacked by a group of Somali pirates in 2009.

Dallas Buyers Club

Inspired by true events, Dallas Buyers Club is about an HIV-positive cowboy (Matthew McConaughey) who takes matters in his own hands. He scours the world for both legal and illegal alternative medicines to combat AIDS.

What do you do when disaster strikes while you're on a mission in the outer space? Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) faces this challenge when her space shuttle is destroyed in outer space.

The Wolf of Wall Street

New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) falls into a life of corruption and greed, and a battle with the federal government.
